The Bangia Sisters......Aparna and Pooja


This is no ordinary bond between two sisters.

It is a connection beyond intellect…one of soul and spirit. 

The entwining of their work was never planned.

They lived in different continents but shared similar experiences.

It was ordained to happen by powerful forces that brought the two sisters together.

They are are both fiercely independent strong individuals who have found the path to find a fusion of their work.

To the ordinary eye the work may come across as naïve.

To the expert it is sublime…

This is art to be experienced visually as well as spiritually.

Not only is the subject brought to life but also its essence.

Once you transcend the surface you are able to appreciate the power of love, togetherness and creativity.  You are drawn into a world of complete peace, happiness and contentment.

Aparna and Pooja are grateful to have this gift…

There is a deep satisfaction in being able to share this gift with others.

They are bringing to life the sublime…the purity of ones soul.

A place where one can surrender themselves completely to the elements and come to one with it. 

The paintings hold within them the power of mantras that envelop our universe.

What you have been unable to grasp is easily brought home.

A wonderful start to this morning with a bright sunshine.....

Enough to inspire anyone....especially dear Arun who is once again sipping his morning Latte....overlooking the massive 'INCEPTION' poster from his window...


He repeatedly complains that the view from his window is soon going to be a victim of urban commercialisation.

I think the 'Inception' for his thought process is his deep rooted desire to create and express himself. 


So I thought to myself...hmmmmm....why not catch the man in action before we proceed to see what he has to say about our artist angels...The Bangia Sisters.....

So here are a few glimpses of Arun engrossed in his thoughts......

We know it has been a while since we have had updates. Both Arun and I have been putting our minds together working to strengthen Universal Art.....

I truly appreciate and admire Arun who puts his heart and soul to communicate our thoughts with his wonderful words put together over his evening latte....gazing outside the window of his wonderful new apartment......Congrats Arun for your lovely new pad!

Universal Art.....Our Purpose......

When a person views a work of art impressions and connections begin to form in the viewers mind based on their personal experiences. 

Energies can also be drawn from the experience of the artist who has created the works.

Unlike fine art that can bring the viewer close to the intellectual image.

The pieces by Pradeep and the Bangia sisters are energised by inward journeys taken by the artists in meditative and spiritual creative spaces. 

Their art sends the viewer into another dimension where one is rendered thought free and open to raw energies transferred by the work.

If the image depicted a fire…One would feel the warmth of the fire.  

Hear the crackling and popping sounds of wood splitting by the searing heat of colour bursting flames.  One would smell wood burning in the air.

But for this experience the viewer has to put away intellectual thoughts and let the images appeal to the senses.

Saurabh and I were wondering...

How does one create something that has never been experienced in this universe before?

How about experiencing the senses without the physicality....

Life within the seeming lifeless interpreted as energy.
Chaos within stillness...

Bringing to light what is easily taken for granted and unnoticed.
Highlighting the beauty of shape, size, colour and sensuality...

Can one put.. pen to paper, finger to piano, adorn a costume, fashion a sculpture spill a few rhymes sprinkle a few words in a collective way to interpret a theme...

This is a concept that we feel is unique. Limit yourself with the unlimited...
Try and harness love and passion within....to share with all
Be who you are, say what you want, do as you feel...invigorate the senses.
Unleash the power and beauty of the Universe through the expression of art...

Saurabh replied:

So therein was born a partnership through which, we as mediums would share with the world masterpieces passionately created from the souls of our talented brothers and sisters....

A space where different forms of creative art are brought together and allowed to bounce off one another creating beautiful patterns for the world to see.
Each event something unexpected something never seen before... a kaleidoscope of art...
